Professional summary

Tom is a Hydrological Data Analyst at the UKCEH in Wallingford. He is working on improving UK rainfall data products as part of the Floods and Droughts Research Infrastructure (FDRI) project.

Before joining UKCEH, Tom completed his PhD at University College London and King's College London. His research focused on the jet streams' response to a climate change. His project involved studying the representation of jet streams in climate data and constraining uncertainty in their trends. He is an avid programmer and a strong believer in open-source research software. His other passions include science communication and yoga.
