UKCEH researchers are at the EGU General Assembly 2025 next week (27 April - 2 May), joining environmental scientists from all over the world in Vienna or online for a meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. We’re convening sessions and presenting talks and posters on a range of topics such as wildfires, land use modelling, hydrological forecasting, and using UAVs for monitoring.

Sessions
In addition to the above talks and posters, Doug Kelley is the convenor of Monday's session on Extreme fires and their impacts.
And Nick Everard is convenor of two sessions: Advancing Measurements and Observations in the Geosciences (Thursday) and Advances in river monitoring and modelling, including UAS and satellite based methods (Friday).
EGU offers a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in relevant fields. Good luck to everyone taking part!
