Professional summary
Kasia's research interests and current focus include spatial modelling of biogeochemistry and ecosystem change in response to climate change and pollution; spatial uncertainty propagation analysis; mapping and modelling critical loads, critical levels and pollutant deposition for the UK; and, development of statistical and dynamic biogeochemical models.
Before joining UKCEH, Kasia was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands, then moved to the University of Edinburgh as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Tropical Hydro-Ecological Modelling.
She completed her PhD at University of Reading, identifying the spatial mechanism controlling variability in the long-term increases in dissolved organic carbon concentrations in soil and surface waters.
