Neil Mullinger is a Field and Instrumentation Technician based at the UKCEH Edinburgh site. He focuses on technical aspects of environmental research but has a background in chemistry and environmental sciences.
Neil primarily supports UKCEH's work into the biosphere's atmospheric interactions, also assisting other sites and science areas with technical advice.
Working across many projects and field sites, Neil leads the design, commissioning, service and repair of a wide range of instruments and equipment. He is also experienced in a variety of environmental sampling, measurement and analytical techniques.
Neil has a PhD Environmental Science from Lancaster University and an MChem (Hons), University of Wales Swansea.
