Professional summary
Mark is a hydrological modeller who works on developing computational models of the UK water environment to study and forecast water quantity and quality. He is involved in producing the UK Hydrological Outlook, a monthly publication of hydrological forecasts, and also works on soil moisture now-casting and forecasting as part of the AgZero+ project.
Mark is also contributing to the development of the LTLS-FE model, seeking to better understand how chemical processes and the transfer of pollutants in the UK Freshwater Environment will be affected by climate and land use change over the next 100 years.
He has a DPhil in Astrophysics and a Master's degree in Physics, both from the University of Oxford. He previously worked at Jesus College, Oxford, as a lecturer in Physics.
