Professional summary
Vikki is a PhD student who is interested in the occurrence and movement of lepidoptera and how species of butterfly and moths use different habitats.
Her PhD is titled, Bigger, better hedgerows – assessing hedge structure and landscape context for pollinating insects, and considers questions of what spatial scale different insect and plant groups occur at and how different hedgerow elements within the UK support or obstruct insects using hedges for shelter, breeding and dispersal. She is also interested in measuring the quality of hedgerow habitat and the role that different management techniques have on insect communities.
