In light of the measures recently put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology has now closed its sites in Bangor, Edinburgh, Lancaster and Wallingford to staff, students, visitors, contractors and suppliers.
Much of our field work has also been suspended. However, we are developing contingency plans to maintain our UK air quality networks at the request of the Environment Agency.
Despite the challenging circumstances, we remain committed to carrying out our important environmental research and innovation work. The majority of our scientists and students are continuing their research from home, with the professional support of our infrastructure teams.
- If you are a partner in any of our research projects and have questions about the delivery of the project, please contact the relevant Principal Investigator.
- If you wish to explore new research and innovation opportunities, please contact the appropriate member of staff or our business development team.
- For other enquiries, please contact us using our general enquiries form and we will deal with your enquiry as promptly as we are able.
As the situation evolves, we will continue to post updates about business continuity on our website and on our Twitter account @UK_CEH.
Thank you for your understanding and we wish you well.
