Dr. Manuel-Angel Duenas-Lopez is a freshwater Ecologist in the River Water Quality and Ecology Group at UKCEH. He has a PhD in Ecology (1999) with a European Doctorate from the University of Córdoba, Spain. His work is mainly based on secondary research using systematic review and meta-analysis. His research focuses on invasive species’ impacts on threatened species. He is also experienced in the management and control of aquatic plants and has produced risk assessments and guidance for different organizations including the Non-Native Species Secretariat (Defra, UK), EPPO and IUCN.
