Preparing to start a visit or employment at a UKCEH site
Induction
All visitors staying at least one month at UKCEH must follow an induction to be organised by your host (usually for the visitor’s first day or as soon as possible thereafter). Please note the induction checklist which outlines the minimum information that must be provided to visitors and the UKCEH employee handbook. Once you have started our internal Hub site will provide you with more information.
IT
Visitors may use their own laptops while at UKCEH.
You may request a temporary login to the Visitors' Wi-Fi network (valid for one day) by emailing itsupport@ceh.ac.uk.
Work environment
Site access for those with disabilities: Step-free access is available throughout all UKCEH sites.
