The International Science for Net Zero Plus programme is managed by the Programme Board, who report to the UKCEH Science Board. The delivery of science is overseen by the Board but directly managed by Project leads. The Programme Board seeks independent advice from an external Programme Advisory Group.  A Programme Office provides support to the Board and Projects. 

Programme Board

The Programme Board (PB) is responsible for directing and managing delivery of the programme to the quality expected, within the time provided, and to budget as set out by the funder, NERC.

The PB will ensure scientific delivery of the programme remains on track and within scope, and that the overall aim and objectives of the programme are being achieved.

A Programme Advisory Group (PAG) will provide independent advice to the Programme Board, including on: 

  • Building and strengthening strategic partnerships and engagements.
  • Maximising the long-term impacts and legacy of the NC-International programme.
  • Ways to promote EEDI within the programme.
  • Promoting interdisciplinary research capability through engaging diverse communities and strengthening the network of scientists in the UK and abroad.  
  • Helping to develop collaborations including making links to other initiatives and identifying emerging opportunities.
