NC-UK  Join us in shaping the future

NC UK countryside

The ‘Understanding the UK environment’ (NC-UK) programme is a five- year National Capability investment by the UK Government to deliver integrated monitoring, modelling and data for the UK environment. This data will empower researchers, governments and businesses to tackle major environmental challenges of our time.

Our goal is to make NC-UK's research more relevant and useful in research while also addressing policy needs and finding ways to bring communities together to shape future research funding. This includes consulting on the vision for an integrated environmental monitoring network, ensuring it evolves to better meet user needs.

Are you interested in learning more and participating in a Science User Group or a Policy User Group? Or would you prefer to just stay in the loop with key updates and occasional opportunities to engage?  We're looking for input as we define how these groups can best work with NC-UK researchers to guide community engagement and shape delivery.
